What products does SCENOVIA sell?
SCENOVIA offers two main product lines:
Solar Outdoor Lights — wire-free lighting for gardens, patios, pools, and pathways. Our range includes:

Scented Candles — crafted in premium high-fired porcelain vessels, designed for a refined fragrance experience. The ceramic vessel can be repurposed after use as a pen holder, brush organizer, or vase.
Are the solar lights waterproof?
Yes. All SCENOVIA solar lights are waterproof, making them suitable for outdoor use in rain and general weather conditions. They are not designed for submersion (except pool lights, as specified per product listing). Damage caused by weather beyond the IP65 rating is not covered under warranty.
How do solar lights work? Do I need batteries or power outlets?
Our solar lights are completely self-powered. The built-in solar panel charges the rechargeable battery during daylight hours, and the lights switch on automatically at dusk. No wiring, no power outlets, and no electricity costs — simply position them in a spot with good sun exposure for best performance.
Are SCENOVIA candles safe to use indoors?
Yes. Our candles are made from natural, high-quality materials and are designed for safe indoor use. For best results:
• Burn on a stable, heat-resistant surface
• Keep away from drafts, children, and pets
• Never leave a burning candle unattended
• Stop use immediately if you notice excessive smoking, uneven burning, or any cracking — and contact us at hello@scenovia.shop
What makes SCENOVIA candle vessels special?
Our candles are housed in premium high-fired porcelain — a more sophisticated and durable material than standard glass. The ceramic is resistant to cracking and thermal shock. Once your candle is finished, the vessel lives on: use it as a pen holder, makeup brush organizer, plant pot, or minimalist vase. Sustainability by design.
B.Orders & Shipping
Do you offer free shipping?
Free shipping on all Australian orders over AUD $68. Orders below this threshold will have a standard shipping fee applied at checkout.
Where does SCENOVIA ship to?
We currently ship across Australia. For international shipping enquiries, please contact us at hello@scenovia.shop and we will do our best to assist.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Delivery times vary depending on your location within Australia. You will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking details once your order has been dispatched. If you have questions about a specific order, contact us at hello@scenovia.shop with your order number.
My order arrived damaged — what should I do?
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, contact us within 7 days of delivery at hello@scenovia.shop with:
• Your order number
• A description of the issue
• Clear photos of the damage or fault
We will cover all return shipping costs and arrange a replacement, repair, or full refund.
C.Returns & Refunds
Australian Consumer Law (ACL) Notice
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
What is your return policy?
We offer two layers of protection:
ACL Rights: Under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a replacement, refund, or repair for faulty goods. These rights cannot be excluded.
30-Day Change of Mind: If you simply change your mind, we accept returns within 30 days of purchase, provided the item is:
• Unused and in original packaging, in resalable condition
• Accompanied by proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt)
How do I start a return?
1. Email hello@scenovia.shop with your order number, photos of the item, and a description of the issue.
2. We will respond within 24 business hours.
3. For approved returns, we will send instructions and — where applicable — a prepaid return label.
Important: Do not send items back before contacting us. Returns without prior authorisation may not be accepted.
Who pays for return shipping?
Change of mind returns: Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.
Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items: SCENOVIA covers all return shipping costs.
When will I receive my refund?
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days of our receipt and inspection of the returned item. Please allow additional time for your bank to process and post the refund.
Can I return a used or partially burned candle?
Used or partially burned candles are not eligible for change-of-mind returns. However, if your candle has a safety issue — such as container cracking, excessive smoking, or uneven burning — this qualifies as a major fault under the Australian Consumer Law, and your full rights still apply.
Candle safety note: Do not return a candle that has been in contact with heat. Stop use immediately, take clear photos, and email us at hello@scenovia.shop. We will arrange a full refund or replacement and cover all return costs.
What items cannot be returned for change of mind?
• Used or partially burned candles (unless faulty — ACL rights still apply)
• Gift cards
• Custom or personalised orders
Note: These exclusions apply to change-of-mind returns only. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law for faulty goods remain fully in force regardless.
D.Warranty
What warranty do solar lights come with?
SCENOVIA solar lights carry a 6-month warranty against manufacturing defects, in addition to your Australian Consumer Law rights. This covers:
• LED failure
• Solar panel malfunction
• Waterproof seal issues under normal use
What is not covered by the solar lights warranty?
• Damage caused by misuse or improper installation
• Extreme weather damage beyond the IP65 rating
• Battery degradation after 6 months of normal use
Your statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law remain unaffected by these exclusions.
Are candles covered by a warranty?
Our candles are covered by the Australian Consumer Law, which guarantees goods must be of acceptable quality. If your candle has any safety issue — including container cracking, excessive smoking, or uneven burning — stop using it immediately and contact us. Safety-related faults qualify as a major failure under ACL, and we will arrange a full refund or replacement at no cost to you.
What are my rights under the Australian Consumer Law?
Under the ACL, our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. You are entitled to:
• A replacement or refund for a major failure
• Compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss or damage
• Repair or replacement if goods fail to be of acceptable quality (even for non-major failures)
These rights exist independently of and in addition to any return or warranty policy we offer.

How quickly will you respond?
We aim to respond to all enquiries within 24 business hours. If you have an urgent safety concern — such as a candle issue — please stop using the product immediately and email us with photos. Do not return it before hearing from us.

Not necessarily; you may checkout as a guest. However, registration speeds up future purchases and allows order history viewing.
How do I delete or export my account information?
Email hello@scenovia.shop with your request. We will verify your identity and process it.
